Dantran is a registered Closed Corporation and has been in operation since July 2001. Dantran has full accreditation with the TETA as well as the National Department of Transport.

Dantran has many years experience in the Transport Sector, as Distribution Manager, Distribution Training Manager and Manager of Hazardous and Dangerous Practices (Hazchem). He is now concentrating on training personnel within he sector, specialising in Dangerous Goods. There is a large demand for this programme currently, due to the change in legislation, and this will continue as drivers and Qualified Persons of dangerous goods need regular re-assessing according to the Act.

a. Unit Standards at Level 1 GETC Transport
b. Level 3 National Certificate in Professional Driving
c. Level 4 Transport Management
d. Level 5 Transport Operations

    COMPLIANCE WITH NEW TRAINING MODERATOR AND DEVELOPMENT PRACTICES

  • Gavin is a registered Moderator / Assessor both with the ETDP (SETA) and TETA. Is involved with RPL, Assessing and Training. His programme on Dangerous Goods complies with Regulation 280 of the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996, and with unit standards registered with SAQA, is accredited as a provider of training by both the TETA and NDOT.
